Triangle Wines, Salvo Malbec 2022

Triangle Wines was created with a vision of linking the best winemakers in the world with fairly unknown terroirs and grape varieties. Now into its fifth iteration, the legendary Argentinian winemakers behind the imperious PerSe label, Edy del Popolo & David Bonomi, have taken up the mantle with their Salvo Malbec 2022. Taken from vines at 1250m above sea level in the storied region of Los Chacayes, Uco Valley, this 100% Malbec was hand-harvested and aged for 7 months in concrete to retain freshness in the wine. Fruity & floral, but with a bright, balanced acidity and guiding chalky tannins, this is a serious but highly drinkable Malbec that speaks of the high altitude it was grown in.
